Introduction
Before implementing the Docebo platform, it is essential to ensure that your environment meets the necessary system requirements. These requirements outline specifications needed to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compatibility. Adhering to these requirements not only ensures a smooth setup process but also minimizes potential issues during operation.
This article provides a comprehensive overview of the system requirements for the Docebo platform. Whether you are preparing for installation or troubleshooting an existing setup, understanding these requirements is a critical first step to success.
Supported desktop operating systems
- Microsoft Windows 10 or higher
- OSX (the last two major releases)
- Most Linux distributions (ChromeOS is not tested)
Docebo strongly recommends that clients maintain updated operating systems (both desktop and mobile) aligned to the latest release made available by the respective vendor.
Tablets using the browser version of the desktop platform
- iPadOS (the last two major releases)
- Android 12.0 or higher
When accessing the platform from a tablet, there are two options:
- Use the tablet’s mobile browser to access the desktop version of your platform. This is supported for Android tablets with an 8” screen or larger and Apple iPads of all sizes.
- On the mobile browser, you can access both administrator and learner views of the platform, however, only the learner functionality is fully supported.
- Use the Go.Learn mobile app, which supports any screen size and older devices.
- Note that the mobile app provides only learner functionality.
The Redirect window setting determines whether users who enter the platform URL in the mobile browser are invited to download the mobile app.
Go.Learn supported operating systems (tablets and smartphones)
- iOS 15.5 or higher
- Android 12.0 or higher
The Go.Learn mobile app, on both smartphones and tablets, supports only the learner view of the platform and does not provide any administrator functionality.
Android mobile devices:
If you are using an Android device for the Chinese market, see the article Mobile app in China.
We recommend using the Go.Learn app or your branded app when accessing the platform on mobile phones. Please note that mobile browsers are not supported for platform use on these devices
Supported browsers
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Google Chrome
- Safari
Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari follow a continuous release policy that makes it difficult to fix a minimum version. For this reason, following the market recommendation, Docebo supports the last two major versions of each of these browsers.
Please note that:
- As of January 2018, Docebo does not support Safari on Windows.
- As of November 2022, Docebo is not actively testing Firefox but still offers support for it.
Browser settings
- JavaScript must be enabled
- Third-party cookies must be enabled
- localStorage must be enabled
- TLS Version: 1.2
Note for use on Chrome 83 and higher
Starting from Chrome 83, to embed Docebo while using the browser in Incognito mode, third-party cookies must be manually turned on (opens in a new tab).

Accessibility support
Docebo targets compliance with WCAG 2.2 to remove access barriers and make the platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. To achieve this, we conduct comprehensive automated and manual testing across various browsers, keyboard interactions, and main screen readers.
For more information about accessibility tests against the WCAG, refer to Docebo Accessibility Statement - Platform tests against the WCAG guidelines (opens in a new tab).
