Introduction
The Go.Learn app lets you access your platform directly from your mobile devices. Through the app, you can easily attend courses, complete training material, and view various assets and channels.
This article provides an overview of the main pages and functionalities that you can find on the Go.Learn mobile app. If you need help downloading or logging into the mobile app refer to the article Accessing the Go.Learn mobile app.
Please note that the mobile app has no Administrator functionality. Rather, it is for end users (learners).
Navigate the mobile app menu
To access the pages available on your app, tap the menu icon in the top left corner.
Please note that the mobile app is configurable, so your app may not have all these pages available in the menu, or some of them may have different names. You may also have some additional custom pages not described here.
Refer to the chapters in this article for an overview of each of the standard pages that may be available on your app.
At the bottom of the menu, you can tap your user name to access some additional areas: My profile, My gamification and the offline function.
My courses and learning plans
This page shows you all the courses and learning plans in which you are already enrolled. Each card shows you the type of content (e-learning, ILT course, learning plan), your progress status in it (Not started, In progress, Completed) , and whether the course is locked.
For more information about completing courses and learning plans see the article: Courses on the Go.learn mobile app.
Filters
You can apply filters to help you find a particular item. To do this, tap the Filters icon in the top right corner, then select the filters you want to apply. These can include Type, Status, Deadline, Hidden items, Duration and others configured by your administrator.
To apply the filters, simply close the filters panel. When a filter is applied a red dot on the filter icon indicates that this option is active. To clear the filters, re-open the filters panel and tap the filter icon again.
Sorting
You can sort the content on this page alphabetically by name or code (A-Z or Z-A), or by enrollment date (newest to oldest, or oldest to newest). To do this tap the Filters icon to open the panel and in the Sort by field select the desired sort order.
Search
In the Filters panel you can also search for an item using the free text search field. If you have also some filters applied, this will search within the filtered results.
Course catalog
The Course catalog page shows you some collections of courses and learning plans that you can browse through.
- Each catalog is shown on a separate row, and you can browse its content by swiping horizontally, or tapping See all.
- You can scroll vertically to see the different catalogs available
Depending on configuration, the items in the catalogs may be available for purchase, for free or moderated self-enrollment, or you may have to request enrollment from an administrator.
In the case of items available for purchase, please note that you cannot purchase courses or learning plans directly from the mobile app. However you can do so from the desktop platform, and then access those items from your mobile app.
From the mobile app you can only self-enroll in items that are marked Free and have an Enroll button available when you tap the card.
Categories
If Categories are configured on your platform, you can tap the Categories icon in the top right corner to filter the content in the catalogs page by a particular category. Categories are hierarchical so when you select one, you may see further sub-categories. A red dot on the category icon indicates that a category filter is being applied. To remove a category filter, open the panel again and select the topmost (root) category.
Filters, Sorting and Search
You can also use the Filters panel to apply various filters, change the sort order of the items displayed, and do a free text search. This works in a similar fashion to that described in the preceding chapter.
All Channels
Access the All Channels page by tapping on the menu icon in the top left corner of your app, then tapping on the All Channels item.
The All Channels page shows a list of channels together with the content (either assets, courses, learning plans or playlists) in each channel. Individual formal training materials are not displayed in channels, but rather inside of courses within the channels.
Swipe your finger left and right to scroll through the content in each channel. Simply tap on the content to access it. Remember that for informal training materials or playlists, you will only see content that you have been granted visibility to view.
To view one channel, tap the See All item in the channel’s area. You’ll then be redirected to that channel’s page, where you can see a list of all of the content in that channel that you have permission to view. Content may have a different page appearance according to its type, but all content will show the details as well as an easy way to complete it.

- Badges are typically associated with an accomplishment such as completing a course or certification

- Points can in turn be converted into coins, that you can exchange for external rewards
Scrolling down you may see one or more of the following sections:
