Introduction
The evaluation designer allows you to fully customize questionnaires or create them from scratch. A number of suggested questions are available for you to use in your questionnaires but you can edit them or create your own questions. All the available questions are stored in the Question library.
Using the Question library
The question library includes all the available questions divided into two categories.
- Suggested questions: Questions we provide for your convenience and recommend you to use to gain both qualitative and quantitative feedback on your courses. You can edit the label of these questions but you cannot change the answer or question type
- Suggested questions (edited by you): Suggested questions that you have edited to fit your needs. You can create as many versions of the same suggested question as needed, but only one version of the edited question can be included in each questionnaire.
- Created by you: Questions you have created from scratch.
Selecting questions from the Question library
To retrieve questions from the Question library, follow these steps
- In the Evaluation designer menu, go to the Questionnaires tab
- Find the questionnaire you want to edit and click on the ellipsis menu in the questionnaire’s row. Select Edit questionnaire.
- On the Builder tab, click on the plus icon at the top of each questionnaire part
- Choose Select from Question library
- In the right panel, you will find all the available questions (suggested questions, suggested questions (edited by you), and questions created by you)
- Select a question and click on Confirm. The question will be added to your questionnaire.
Please note! You can create multiple versions of the same suggested question but only one of these versions can be included in each questionnaire. If you have already included one version of a suggested question in your questionnaire, then the other versions will be filtered out and you will not see them in the Question library while editing the questionnaire. This prevents you from asking the same question more than once and ensures the accuracy of the reports.
On top of the question itself, other details can help you in making your choice:
- Question type: To allow you to get both quantitative and qualitative feedback. Learn more about question types.
- Specific theme: This is the core focus of the question and will help you in making sure you get the relevant metrics.
