Introduction
Starting January 1, 2026, Docebo will introduce a new AI credit system to manage the use of some advanced AI-powered features included in Docebo Creator in a flexible and transparent way. This update allows us to continue offering the latest AI innovations while keeping essential features free of charge.
Until January 1, 2026, you can continue to use all AI features — except AI video presenter, which remains subject to the current minute-based policy — at no additional cost.
Once the system is active, credits will be available for purchase in dedicated packages to cover usage of premium AI features as needed.
What changes in January 2026
Beginning January 1, 2026, high-value AI features in Creator will move under the AI credit system:

What stays the same
Core AI features in Creator, such as AI-powered assessment generation and AI translations, will remain available at no additional cost.
AI features outside Creator, such as Harmony search, Harmony copilot for support, or AI-based recommendations, are not affected by this update.
Your current workflows will not be affected before January 2026. These updates will roll out automatically with no action required from your side. You will continue to find all AI tools available as usual until the new system becomes active.
AI video presenter
Until December 31, 2025, the AI video presenter feature continues to work as it does today. Every platform includes a fixed number of 30 minutes that can be generated at no cost. Additional minutes can be purchased as needed.
Starting January 1, 2026, AI video presenter will move under the AI credit system, and credit consumption will be tracked in the Usage dashboard.

Do I need to do anything now?
No action is required before January 1, 2026. You can keep using AI features as usual until then.
What are AI credits exactly?
AI credits are a way to measure the use of certain high-cost AI features. You will be able to view and track them in your platform through the Usage dashboard.
Will there be reporting on the consumption of AI credits?
Yes. The Usage dashboard will include a section dedicated to AI credits, showing your credit balance and usage. The system will also send email notifications when credit limits are approaching or reached, in the same way as it does for active users.
Can I still use all AI features now?
Yes. All AI features, except for AI video presenter minutes, are free to use through December 31, 2025.
Will I lose my AI video presenter minutes now or after January 2026?
No. You will not lose your existing AI video presenter minutes. The current policy stays the same until the AI credit system launches, and the 30 free minutes available per platform will continue to be included even after January 2026. Once the credit system starts, you will still have your free minutes to use, and any additional usage will be managed through AI credits.
Will my platform stop working if I run out of credits?
No. Your platform will continue to work normally, and all AI features will remain available. If you use more credits than your allowances, the additional usage will be tracked and invoiced at a pre-agreed rate. The system will notify you via email when your credits are running low and you will have the opportunity to purchase more credits to cover usage as needed.
Why aren’t these AI features included in all plans?
The AI-powered features that will use credits rely on specific infrastructure that has real variable costs every time it runs. Including them in all plans would require higher fixed pricing for every customer, even for those who don’t use these capabilities. With the credit model, you can simply pay in proportion to how much you use these advanced AI features, rather than paying a higher flat rate regardless of usage.
Does this change affect other AI features in Docebo?
No. The AI credit system only applies to selected features within Docebo Creator. Other AI functionalities in the platform are not affected.
