Introduction
For those using test proctoring, your Docebo platform can integrate with Honorlock so that you can use its advanced proctoring features with your Docebo exams.
This article describes how to use Honorlock proctoring in VILT or e-learning courses in Docebo from a learner's perspective.
For more information on how to attend a course, please visit Navigating and Attending Online Courses and Remote Learning: Webinar Courses.
Before you start
Test proctoring in Docebo is only supported via the Google Chrome web browser. If you do not have this browser installed, please install it now. You can download Google Chrome via the Google Chrome homepage (opens in a new tab).
Make sure you have an ID available. The Honorlock identity verification process requires that you take a photo of yourself with your webcam along with a photo of yourself holding your ID to the webcam. You will also need to consent to screen recording, install a browser extension and be able to maneuver your webcam (or laptop) in a way that images of your test-taking environment or room can be recorded.
Please note: Acceptable photo IDs include government-issued or institution-issued ID cards. The name on your ID card must match the name that you registered for the course with.
Do not use military IDs or bank cards.
Depending on the settings your instructor or administrator has configured for proctoring the quiz you will take, you may also need to ensure there is no background noise.
Tip: Your instructor or administrator may have configured the proctoring session for this test to either check by a grouping of flags based on severity levels (for example, all high severity behaviors) and set a limit for the number of violations before the test is automatically failed or they may have configured the proctoring for this test to be configured based on individual behaviors. The number of violations allowed before a test is rendered invalid is not provided to you prior to taking the test, neither is an exact list of behaviors that are being scanned for.
