Introduction
When working with tests, you can configure automatic feedback messages that will be displayed to learners upon completion of the test, based on their results.
You can configure feedback messages to correspond with specific score ranges, offering responses tailored to the test results.
This approach allows for personalized guidance, helping learners understand their performance and areas for improvement.
Configuring feedback responses
To configure feedback messages based on the test scores, log into your platform and access the Admin menu by clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner of the page. Under the E-learning section, select Course management and locate the course containing the test you want to configure.
Click on the course description to open its settings, then go to the Training material tab, find the test in the list of training materials, click the menu icon at the end of its row, and select Edit. Once in the test editor, click on the Feedback management button in the action bar at the top.
As an instructor, access to the management of the course training material as described in the instructor user guide.
On this page, define a score range by entering the minimum and maximum score in the corresponding text boxes and writing the message you want learners to see upon completing the test and receiving a score within that range. Once done, click Save changes.
Repeat this process to create additional score ranges with their respective feedback messages.
All feedback messages are listed at the top of the Feedback management page, where you can edit or delete them using respectively the pen and paper and the X icon in each message's row.
Please note: if you create multiple feedback messages with the same range, users will only see the feedback you created first.
