Accessing Docebo Content
To access the Docebo Content library in your platform, you need to reach the content marketplace. Log into your platform as the Superadmin, access the Admin menu by pressing the gear icon in the top right corner of the page. Then, select the Content marketplace item.
Only Superadmins have access to the content marketplace. Power Users cannot access or manage the content marketplace.
On the main marketplace page, you will see all of the providers from which you can browse, purchase, and sync off-the-shelf content. The Docebo Content library is the biggest banner on the main Content marketplace page.
To explore the library content, press the Explore the library button. You’ll then be redirected to the Docebo Content library. Refer to the next chapter to learn more on browsing the library.
Please note! The language of Docebo Content will be automatically selected based on your platform language. The supported languages are English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese. If your platform language is not one of the supported languages, Docebo Content, by default, will be displayed in English.
Exploring the Docebo Content library
The Docebo Content library includes more than 28,000 courses, with new courses added every month, all available for you to preview and to import if you have purchased a plan. You can browse content either by entering keywords in the search bar or using the list of filters to filter courses according to one of the available options:
- Category: filter items by topic
- Product type: lists or single courses (refer to the chapter Managing lists to learn more about lists)
- Publishers: select among Docebo Content’s training providers
- Languages: select whether you want your selection to be applied to the course text, to the subtitles and/or to the audio track, then mark the desired checkboxes or search for a specific language in the Filter languages bar
- Style: choose the content formats you prefer
- Course features: filter by specific features of the courses. This filter uses “and” logic, so if you select more than one, the results will only display courses offering all the features you selected.
- Seat time: filter courses by duration
- Rating: filter items according to user rating
- Accreditation organizations: display only courses accredited by specific organizations.
Use the Sort by menu on the right side of the page to sort items by relevance, rating, title, date of addition, or date of last update.
All of the content displayed in the search results page is available for you to preview. Refer to the next chapters to learn more about importing content in your platform.
Courses and lists are displayed as cards. Every list card shows its title and the number of courses it contains. Refer to the chapter Managing lists to learn more about lists.
Every course card shows the course title, its publisher, an icon representing the course style, its rating, its duration and the number of languages. Moreover, a course card will be labeled as New or Updated if the course has been created or updated in the last 60 days. The cards of the courses not included in your plan will be marked as Unavailable.
Course languages
To see the list of languages available for a course, hover your mouse over the number of languages in the course’s card or open the course detail page by clicking on the course card. You can expand the Languages section to view more detailed information on that languages are available for course text, subtitles, and audio.
Some courses will be available in more than one language, selectable by learners while playing the corresponding training material. These courses will display a globe icon on their card.
Some courses have language sets available instead. This means that there are multiple versions of the course, one for each language. You will recognize those courses by the folder-and-globe icon on the course card or by a note in the Languages section of the course detail page saying that languages are available as separate courses.
Please note! When importing courses with language sets into your platform or adding them to lists, you will need to select all the versions that you wish to import or add, and each version will be imported or added as a separate course.
Browsing categories
Click on Home to land on the homepage of Docebo Content, where you will find a list of the available categories. Here you will see the cards of some of the courses included in each category, and you will be able to preview them or browse any category.
