Exploring the Docebo Content library
The Docebo Content library contains both individual content items and public collections. Public collections are groups of content items related to the same topic that are automatically populated and updated inside your library. Browse public collections and create custom collections to organize content according to your needs. For more information on custom collections, refer to the article Managing Docebo Content.
To browse content, enter your keywords in the search bar or filter content according to one of the available options.
The search functionality requires you to enter a complete word. The search returns all content that contains this complete word. Entering part of the word will not return any results.

When you apply filters, sorting options, or keyword searches in the library and then open a content or collection detail page, your filtered view remains when you back to the library page.
If you share a filtered library URL with another platform admin, recipients see the same filters, sorting options, and search terms applied.
Use the drop-down menu on the right side of the page to sort items by relevance, rating, title, date of addition, or date of last update.
All of the content displayed in the search results page is available for you to preview. Refer to the next chapters to learn more about importing content in your platform.
Content and collections are displayed as cards. Open a collection detail page to view the content included in the collection.
Content cards display:
- Title
- Publisher
- Date of last update
- Duration
- Number of available languages
Collections cards display:
- Title
- Number of content items
Cards are labelled as:
- New: if the content has been created in the last 90 days.
- Retiring: when the content is scheduled for decommissioning (content items only).
- Imported: if the content has already been imported to your platform (content items only).
Content cards show the retiring and last update dates in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Notes on content languages:
- When one content item is available in multiple languages (selectable by learners when playing the content), the number of languages is displayed on the content card. Click the card to view the available languages.
- When there are multiple versions of the same content, one for each language: Only the default language is displayed on the card. The additional languages are included in separate cards. You still see all the available languages when clicking the card to access any version of the content.
