Introduction
The Courses and Learning Plans dashboards provide a clear and detailed overview of your team’s learning progress. If enabled in your platform, you’ll find two dashboards in the My team page–one for courses and one for learning plans–to help you track and monitor key training metrics for your direct reports.
The My team page
If you are managing at least one user in the platform, open the main menu from the top left corner of your platform and click on My team to access the My team page that you can use to monitor and manage your team.
The My team page is made up of the following tabs:
- Team members. The Team members tab offers an overview of your team. Learn more on managing your team members.
- Courses. The Courses tab shows your team’s progress across enrolled courses
- Learning plans. The Learning plans tab shows your team’s progress across assigned learning plans
- Skills overview. The Skills overview tab lists the skills available in your team and provides an overview of the available content, levels, and improvements. If no user in your team has selected at least one skill, this tab will not appear. Learn more about the skills in your team.
- Checklists. The Checklists tab lists the checklists relating to your team members, learn more on how to manage checklists as a manager.
- Reports. Use the Reports tab to download reports about courses, users, learning plans, certifications and sessions involving your team members (find out more on the Reports tab).
Please note! The Courses and Learning plans tabs are only visible if enabled in the advanced settings of your platform. Contact your administrator for more information.
The Courses and Learning plans dashboards
You can access the Courses dashboard by selecting the Courses tab, or by clicking on the ellipsis menu on a team member’s card and selecting Courses (dashboard). In the latter case, the dashboard will be prefiltered for that specific user. Follow the same steps to access the Learning plans dashboard.
Use filters to tailor the dashboards to your needs. You can filter by:
- One or more courses or learning plans: Only items with at least one enrollment among your team members are listed. You can add up to 10 courses or learning plans simultaneously.
- Course type: Available only for the Courses dashboard
- Enrollment type
- Specific users: You will find here all your direct team members. You can add up to 10 users simultaneously.
- Association type: Whether you are their direct manager or another type of manager. By default, all association types are selected.
- Overdue status: Display only overdue content or content that is overdue soon (within 14 days)
- Enrollment status
- Timeframe: You will find this filter at the top right corner of the dashboards. The timeframe filter takes into account both enrollment and completion dates. By default, the dashboards display data from recent activity, but you can also select All time to view the full history of available data.
You can also click a section of a graph to apply a filter based on that data. For example, clicking the “Completed” status will display only completed courses or learning plans across the page.
Filters that are common to both dashboards (all except courses/learning plans and course type) will persist during your session and remain applied when switching between dashboards. All filters are cleared when the session ends.
In the dashboards, you will see a list of graphs displaying:
- Number and percentage of enrollments in the course or learning plan by status
- Number and percentage of courses or learning plans overdue soon or already overdue
- List of courses or learning plans with enrollment statuses, sorted by number of enrollments
- List of courses or learning plans with overdue statuses, sorted by number of enrollments
- A detailed report with all the courses or learning plans assigned to the team.
Notes on the Courses and Learning plans dashboards:
- Dashboard data is updated every 24 hours, not in real time
- The dashboard data is only available in English, even if you set your platform language to a different language.
For the first 4 graphs, you can click on the ellipsis menu and have a summary of each or export its data in a CSV file. For the report at the bottom, by clicking on the ellipsis menu you will be able to export the data in XLS or CSV format.
