Introduction
Docebo has developed Docebo Learning Impact to measure the learning impact of training. For some courses, you, as a manager, will be involved in the learning measurement process. This means that when one of your team members attends a course (Instructor-Led Training (ILT) course only), you will receive a Learning Impact questionnaire.
Answering Learning Impact questionnaires keeps you aware of the support you can give to your team members after they take a course and helps them develop new skills. As a result, it is highly beneficial to you, your team and your organization as a whole.
This article explains how to answer Learning Impact questionnaires as a manager.
Questionnaire Settings
For some of the courses that your team members take, the learning platform administrators will choose to involve you, as the manager of the team, in the learning measurement process. This means that you will receive a Learning Impact questionnaire a few weeks or months after the end of the course. The purpose of the questionnaire is for you, as a manager, to rate how much of an impact the course has had on your team member’s skill development and work.
Depending on the settings of your platform Administrators, you will also receive an information e-mail outlining the course objectives and the personnel objectives entered by your team members when they take a course. This information e-mail is sent 15 days after the end of the course and requires no further action from your side.
Note: Managers are involved in the learning measurement process for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses only.
Currently, Learning Impact questionnaires are available in Arabic, Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Thai, Traditional and Simplified Chinese and Vietnamese.
The questionnaire language is by default the language set up on your Learn platform. You can change the language of the questionnaire by going to the language selector found in the top right corner and selecting another language.
Note: If a question has not been translated in your selected language, it will appear in another language. In this case, you have the possibility to skip the question even if it is mandatory.
Depending on your Administrator settings, questionnaires can either be:
- Confidential: this means neither your colleagues, manager or any other user in your organization will be able to see who has provided a particular answer or feedback
- Nominative: this means your Admin(s) will be able to see who has provided a particular answer or feedback.
You can find out if the questionnaire is confidential or nominative by checking the status of your answers (Confidential Answers or Nominative Answers) displayed at the bottom of the page.
The questionnaires are sent via e-mail. The e-mail includes a link leading to the questionnaire. This link remains active for 30 days after you receive the e-mail. To answer the questionnaire, click on the link found in the e-mail. You can start answering the questionnaire right away.
When more than one person from your team attends the same course, you will receive only one questionnaire for all the attendees.
Answer all the questions by selecting the answer(s) among the choices. Once you’re done answering all the questions, press Submit Questionnaire. A message will inform you that you have completed your questionnaire successfully. You can download the answers you have entered by pressing Download Your Answers.
If you have other due questionnaires, these will be displayed. Click on the questionnaire description to access it.
Your answers are automatically saved. In case you lose your connection or close your browser, you will be able to resume where you left off.
At any moment, you can choose to continue answering your questionnaire on a mobile device. To do so, press Continue on Mobile in the top right corner. A QR code will be displayed on your screen.
