Managing Go1 content

Introduction

Go1 helps you deliver up-to-date training content to learners without requiring external licenses or complex integrations. It provides a seamless way to ensure a continuous learning experience through fresh, relevant training materials.

The Go1 library includes thousands of learning assets. Use filters and collections to streamline content discovery, reduce manual effort, and quickly identify the learning resources that best fit your organization’s needs.

Only Superadmins can access the Content marketplace and Go1. Power Users cannot access or manage it.

This article explains how to import and manage content from the Go1 library.

Content details page

The Go1 library displays content as cards. Click a card to access the content details page containing the following:

• Title 
• Description
• Rating
• Publisher
• Learning objectives
• Available languages
• Format
• Duration
• Last update date

If the content is planned to retire, a warning with the corresponding date is displayed on the page. You can check out the suggested content at the bottom of the page to replace the retiring content.

From the content details page, preview the content, import it, or add it to an existing or a new collection. Learn more about collections. 

Notes on content languages: 

• When you import content available in multiple languages, all versions are automatically imported and learners can choose their preferred language.
• When there are multiple versions of the same content, one for each language, You need to select the version to import by clicking the desired language. Each imported version counts as a separate content item.

Importing content from Go1 into your platform

You can import content from the Go1 library to the Training materials page of your platform. 

Optionally, you can also create a new course containing this content. It will be displayed on the Courses page with automatically generated title, description, thumbnail, and code. 

To import content, go to the details page and click Import. Follow these steps: 

• Type: Only import content to the Training materials page or import content and create a course (required).
• Folder: Select the training materials library folder where the content will be imported.
• Category: Select the category where the course will be created.
• Catalog: Select the catalogs where the course will be available. Even if you place the course in a catalog, you cannot resell it. Users will be able to directly enroll into it, but they cannot purchase it.
• Enroll: Select the users that will be directly enrolled in the created course

Click Import and refresh the page to display the Imported status on the content card.

To import more than one content at a time, select the content items, click Choose action in the bottom-right corner, select Import content and repeat the previous steps.  

Managing Go1 content on the Training materials page

Content imported from Go1 to the Training materials page of your platform is managed with the same advanced settings and assigned to courses as any other SCORM training material

We recommend not deleting content imported from Go1 on the Training materials page. Learn how to replace retiring content or swap content in the following chapters.

Managing retiring content

Note: Retired content is called Expired on the Courses and the Training material pages.  Retiring content is called Expiring.

On the Go1 library page, you can identify retiring content by the Retiring label on its card. To replace retiring content, open the content details page and select another content item from the Suggested  content section.

Retired content no longer appears in the Go1 library. But it remains on the Courses and on the Training materials pages with the Expired label to preserve user tracking. Learners who started the training material before it was retired can still complete the course.

Replace or remove retired content as soon as possible to ensure learners have access to active and up-to-date materials. 

To identify expired/expiring content on the Training materials page, open the filters and select Go1 in the content providers section. Check the Status column to see if the content is active, expiring, or expired. 

To identify the courses containing expiring or expired training materials, Go to the Courses page, open the filters and select Expiring and/or Expired in the Marketplace section. A warning icon identifies expiring/expired content in the Marketplace column.  

If you import the content as training material, remove it from each course where it is assigned or remove it from all courses at once from the Training materials page

Content swaps

Customers using Go1 on an unlimited plan can freely swap their content for the duration of their contract without any limits. Customers on Go1 import-limited plans can optionally swap content on the anniversary of their Docebo Learn contract date. Get in touch with a customer success representative to request a content swap.

Attending a Go1 course as a learner
