Introduction
The Marketplace agent helps Superadmins discover, evaluate, and import content from the Content marketplace into Docebo without manual catalog searching.
The agent is selected by default when opening the lateral chat panel on the Content marketplace page within the new Go1 experience.
Activation and configuration
Superadmins manage the Marketplace agent centrally from Agent Hub.
- Enable or disable the Marketplace agent across the platform. Ensure at least one AI assistant capability is enabled for Superadmins in the Artificial intelligence control panel settings.
- Customize the icon, color, title, and description to match internal naming standards.
Capabilities
- Discover courses by topic, skills, duration, publisher, and learner audience.
- Compare courses side by side by skills, rating, duration, language and other key metadata.
- Save curated shortlists to named collections for review.
- Import content directly as courses or training materials.
- Identify retiring content and receive replacement suggestions.
Use cases
- Accelerate catalog curation: Build targeted course collections for new initiatives or skill gaps in minutes by describing your target audience and learning objectives.
- Maintain catalog continuity: Prevent gaps in active learning paths by having the agent identify retiring courses and suggest suitable replacements.
- Streamline stakeholder review: Assemble candidate courses into shortlists during your conversation so team members can review curated options before final import.
Best practices
- Be specific in your initial prompt: Include key criteria such as target proficiency, ideal duration, preferred publishers, or language requirements to receive the most accurate matches.
- Refine your search step-by-step: Use conversational follow-ups to filter results, compare candidates, or adjust criteria rather than expecting a single prompt to cover everything.
- Use shortlists for organized importing: Group candidate courses into named collections to organize your findings before pushing items directly into Course Management.
- Run periodic catalog audits: Routinely ask the agent to check for retiring courses to replace expiring content proactively before it impacts active learners.
