Introduction
On the Go.Learn mobile app, you can enroll in and take courses similarly to the desktop platform.
You can enroll in the following learning content:
- E-learning course: a standalone course you complete in the app. It usually has lessons, such as videos, slides, or tests.
- Instructor-led training (ILT): a course led by an instructor, in person or online. A session is the period during which the course is held. When you enroll, you select one of the scheduled sessions.
- Learning plan: a set of e-learning or ILT courses grouped in a curriculum. You complete all mandatory courses to complete the plan.
- Certification: A type of learning plan that awards a certification when you complete all of its required courses. Certifications can expire and need to be renewed.
Please note: Your mobile app may also include legacy certifications. Legacy certifications are listed on the My activities page and follow different rules. This article refers to learning plans and certifications. Refer to the article Certificates and certifications for more information on legacy certifications.
Finding courses, learning plans, and certifications
You can find your learning content on the following areas:
- My courses and learning plans: lists the items in which you have enrolled or have been enrolled by an administrator.
- Course catalog: courses (e-learning or ILT), learning plans, and certifications that you can enroll in.
- All channels: courses, learning plans, and certifications as well as assets that users shared, such as videos, images, PDF files, web links, and playlists.
Enrolling
You can enroll in courses, learning plans, and certifications when the administrator has enabled self-enrollment. You can only self-enroll in free content, you cannot buy courses, learning plans, or certifications that are for sale from the app. Make the purchase on the desktop platform. The purchased content then appears in the mobile app.
To enroll yourself, go to Course catalog or All channels:
- Find the course, learning plan, or certification and tap its card.
- Tap Enroll.
- For an ILT course, tap the date of the session you want, then tap Enroll into this session.
- If the course has enrollment additional fields, fill in the required fields, then tap Enroll now.
Once you are enrolled, the content appears in My courses and learning plans as well as My activities.
Please note: Self-enrollment may be moderated which means your enrollment must be approved by an administrator before you can access the content.
Unenrolling
You can unenroll from courses, learning plans, and certifications when the administrator has enabled self-unenrollment.
- In My courses and learning plans, tap the card of the item.
- Tap the ellipsis icon in the top right corner. The available actions open.
- Tap Unenroll.
- In the confirmation window, tap Yes, I want to proceed.
The ellipsis icon does not appear when no actions are available for the content.
Unenrolling from an ILT session or change session
For ILT courses, you can leave one session without leaving the course, or switch to another session of the same course.
- In My courses and learning plans, tap the ILT course card.
- Open the Session tab.
- Choose an action:
- To switch sessions, tap Change session, select the new session, then tap Switch to this session on the session details page.
- To unenroll from your current session, tap Unenroll from this session, then tap Yes, unenroll in the confirmation window.
