Introduction
For those using Zoom Meeting and Zoom Webinar for web training, your Docebo platform can integrate with Zoom, so your users can access live VILT (Virtual Instructor-Led Training) training sessions in their Docebo platforms.
You must have an active Zoom account and remain in agreement with the terms and conditions in your contract in order to successfully configure this integration. Also, note that your Zoom license must include the possibility to manage meetings and webinars. Docebo shares the platform users' first names, last names and emails with Zoom during the webinar sessions.
What is Docebo VILT for Zoom version 3?
Docebo VILT for Zoom v3 facilitates your virtual, instructor-led training programs using your Zoom corporate platform. When you connect your Zoom platform with Docebo, your L&D teams can easily set up Zoom events and sessions directly in Docebo. Seamlessly run your learning programs from Docebo using your company’s primary video conferencing tool.
Workflows
This integration allows you to do the following directly from the Docebo VILT event:
- Create/edit a Zoom event
- Join the webinar as an attendee
- Start the webinar as an alternative host
- Control Zoom templates
- Track the attendance of the learner in the Zoom webinar
- Access the event as a Zoom host to have all the associated permissions of the webinar (for example, control Zoom breakout rooms, polls, etc.)

On-premise deployments of Zoom
The integration is available for Zoom SaaS and does not support on-premise deployments.
Zoom for Government
Zoom for Government is not currently supported.
Supported Zoom pricing plans
Docebo VILT for Zoom Version 3 is only supported when used with Zoom Pro or higher pricing plans. It is not supported for the Basic plan.

Training Orchestra
The Training Orchestra integration is not supported with Zoom V3.
Breakout rooms
Docebo VILT for Zoom Version 3 supports polls and breakout rooms.
Updating a Zoom event in Docebo
When a Zoom event is updated in Docebo, the event is deleted and recreated with the same name and updated information within Zoom. This causes the meeting URL for the event to change. If you have sent the meeting URL to any participants prior to making a change to the event, you will need to resend the new URL or participants will not be able to join the event.

Migrating to Zoom version 3
If you are using Zoom version 2, please note that the integration with Zoom version 2 reached the end of support on December 20, 2023 and reached end of life on July 17, 2024.
The following steps show how to migrate to Zoom version 3:
- Configure the integration with Zoom version 3, by following the instructions provided by this article. Zoom version 2 and Zoom version 3 can be simultaneously installed on your platform.
- Use the new version of the integration for the ILT courses you are scheduling. Remember that the Zoom version 3 integration is identified as Zoom Meeting in the drop-down list when scheduling ILT courses.
- If you have Zoom version 2 ILT sessions already scheduled, you have to delete them and create them from scratch with Zoom version 3.
- Delete any sessions associated with Zoom version 2, you must perform this step before removing the integration as they will no longer be accessible afterward.
- Remove the integration with Zoom version 2.
