Overview
Docebo's reporting and analytics tools include Custom Reports, Legacy Custom Reports, Built-in Reports and reporting dashboard (Course & branches dashboards). To keep performance fast and reliable for every customer, Docebo applies a fair usage threshold to the number of report queries a platform instance can run each month.
What counts as a query
A query is counted each time a Reporting Service retrieves, generates, refreshes, or exports data from Docebo's reporting engine. This includes:
- Manually generated custom and legacy reports
- Scheduled report deliveries
- Reporting dashboard views and filtering
- API calls that pull report data
Monthly threshold
Each platform instance has a baseline fair usage threshold of 30,000 queries per month. This threshold is calibrated to comfortably support standard scheduled reporting and typical ad hoc report generation for the large majority of organizations.
How you'll know where you stand
Docebo monitors reporting usage internally. If your platform reaches the fair usage threshold, your Docebo Account Manager may contact you to review your usage and discuss ways to optimize it. Reporting continues to function normally during this phase.
Tips to reduce query volume
- Consolidate scheduled reports instead of running duplicates across multiple schedules
- Use filters and date ranges to narrow report scope instead of repeatedly pulling full data sets
- Export and reference data you need often, rather than regenerating the same report
