Introduction
As of July 22, 2026, you can no longer create legacy custom reports. You can still view, edit, schedule, and download existing legacy reports.
To create new reports, use the Custom reports builder.
This article explains how to schedule existing legacy custom reports.
Requirements and limitations
Configure the email sender for scheduled reports in Advanced settings > Self registration > Registrations, lost passwords and background jobs email sender.
If the sender email address is not configured, scheduled reports are not sent.
Scheduling a report
To schedule a legacy report:
- Open Data and analytics > Reports.
- Go to the Legacy reports tab.
- Find the report you want to schedule.
- Click the ellipsis icon and select Schedule.
Select how often to send the report:
- daily
- weekly
- monthly
- quarterly
- bi-annually
- annually
Depending on the selected frequency, configure the required date, day of the week, or day of the month. Then select the sending time and time zone.
Add the report recipients. You can select platform users and enter external email addresses, up to a maximum of 10 recipients.
The report is sent by email as a CSV attachment.
Click Confirm.
Once scheduled, a clock icon is displayed in the report row. Hover over it to view the schedule details.
Click the clock icon to disable the schedule. The icon changes from green to black. Click it again to reactivate the schedule.
To edit or delete a schedule, open the ellipsis menu for the report and select Schedule. Update the settings or click Unschedule to remove the schedule.
Notes on the scheduling of reports
Keep the following in mind when scheduling legacy reports:
- Report visibility: Scheduled reports do not apply the visibility permissions of their recipients. If a Superadmin schedules a report for a Power User, the Power User receives all data included in the report, including data they may not normally have permission to view. To restrict the data available to Power Users, assign them visibility on the appropriate custom reports and have them access the reports directly.
- Time zone of report data: Data in scheduled reports is always displayed in UTC, regardless of the platform or user time zone. This provides a consistent time reference for users accessing the platform from different locations.
- Daylight Saving Time: The sending time depends on whether the schedule start date falls during Daylight Saving Time or Standard Time. For example, if a report starts during Daylight Saving Time and is scheduled for 11:00 AM (GMT+1:00), it may be sent at 10:00 AM (GMT+1:00) after the switch to Standard Time. To adjust the schedule, set the start date to a date that falls within Standard Time.
- Email size: The email, including the report attachment, cannot exceed 10 MB. If it exceeds this limit, the email is not sent. We recommend keeping the attachment below 7 MB. Enable Send compressed attachment to compress the report into a ZIP file before sending it that the report file is compressed in ZIP format before attaching to the email.
