Introduction
Badges act as visual indicators of your progress and your success. Depending on the platform settings, you can earn badges for several reasons, such as completing training material, a course, or a learning plan, as well as when posting a reply in a forum discussion. Badges can also be awarded when you receive certificates or certifications upon completing a course.
Once you obtain a badge, you can showcase your achievement on the platform as well as on social networks such as LinkedIn or by copying their links via email or chat messaging.
The possibility to share badges on socials is configured at badge level, which means that not all of the badges might be available for sharing.
Sharing Badges on LinkedIn from the Platform
Once you’ve logged in to your platform, click on the trophy icon in the header to open the My Gamification right panel. Click on Badges to reach the My Badges and Points page listing the badges available on the platform and those awarded to you.
If a badge can be shared on socials, click on the Share Badge button to the badge you wish to share and select the LinkedIn option and select whether to share the badge in a post or to send it as a private message from the window that opens.
If you are using the mobile app, you can share your badges on any social network or via any compatible apps you have installed on your device. Your badge will be shared with a link to a public page of the Docebo platform (accessible by anyone, no need to have an account on Docebo), where all of the details of your achievement are displayed.
Uploading Badges to the Licenses & Certifications Area of Your LinkedIn Profile
You can upload the badges linked to certificates and certifications directly to your LinkedIn profile as described by LinkedIn Help (opens in a new tab).
In the Add Licenses and Certifications pop-up, retrieve the Credential URL by logging in to your platform, and clicking on the trophy icon in the header to open the My Gamification right panel. Click now on Badges to reach the My Badges and Points page, listing the badges available on the platform and those awarded to you.
If a badge can be shared on socials, click on the Share Badge button to the badge you wish to share and select the Copy Link option. The link is the badge's unique URL. Paste it to the Credential URL field.
