Introduction
In the Learning Impact app found in Docebo Learn, the Event Log tab lists all the actions logged in the system related to activities such as learning impact enablement, user enrollment, user completion and synchronization.
To check the Event Log page, access the Learn platform as the Superadmin and reach the Admin Menu from the gear icon in the top right corner. Search for the Learning Impact item and click on Manage, then go to the Event Log tab.
The table in the Event Log page includes the following columns:
Object
Target of the action (user, enrollment, course, branch)
Action
Type of action logged (Create, Update, Complete, Delete)
Object Name
Name of the object logged (course title for courses, usernames for users and enrollments, branch names for branches)
Action Date
This column provides the date and time on which the action took place. By default, the actions are ordered from newest to oldest but you can click on the column name to order them from oldest to newest.
Synchronization Date
The Learning Impact external platform retrieves information from the Docebo Learn platform via API. They are synchronized every two hours to reflect the correct information. This column indicates the date and time of the synchronization. By default, the objects are ordered from newest to oldest action date, but you can click on the column name to order them based on the synchronization date.
Status
The Status column indicates the synchronisation status of the action. Refer to the chapter Status Column in the Event Log Page of this article for more details.
Details
The Details column provides additional details on the synchronization status and displays possible error or warning messages. Refer to the chapter Most Frequent Error and Warning Messages of this article for more details.
You can filter the elements you want to display in the table by pressing on the Filter item at the top left corner of the table. From the slideout menu, flag the filters that you want to apply.
The filters are applied in real-time. To reset the filters, press the Clear Active Filters item at the bottom of the filters menu. You can also use the search bar at the top of the filters menu to search for a specific item.

The Status column in the Event Log page indicates the status of the API call for the corresponding action. This chapter lists all the possible statuses relative to a specific action:
- Synchronized. The API call was successfully completed
- To be synchronized. The API call has not yet taken place. Please note that the synchronization between the Docebo Learning Impact external platform and Docebo Learn only happens every 2 hours. Therefore, you are able to see this status for those actions that are less than 2 hours old. If you see this status for any action older than 2 hours, please contact Docebo using your platform’s Help Center.
- Error. The Learning Impact external platform returned an error while trying to process the API call. When this happens an error message will be displayed in the Details column. Refer to the Most Frequent Error and Warning Messages chapter of this article for more information.
- Warning. Docebo Learn sent irrelevant information to the Learning Impact external platform. Refer to the Most Frequent Error and Warning Messages chapter of this article for more information.
Note: The date of the action can be found in the Action Date column

This message can be displayed when a learner has an enrolled/complete status for a course before the Learning Impact measurement was enabled for this course. If this learner is unenrolled or their profile is updated (using user additional fields or other information) after the Learning Impact measurement is enabled for the course, then this will generate API calls to the Docebo Learning Impact external platform from Docebo Learn but these API calls cannot be processed as this learner cannot be found. Remember that when you enable the Learning Impact measurement for a course, only the learners who are enrolled after the Learning Impact enablement will be included in the evaluation. |
