Introduction
As of April 27, 2021, Docebo Learning Impact is a fully integrated app within Docebo Learn. You can activate learning measurement at course level, send questionnaires and check consolidated reports. Check out all our articles to get started with Docebo Learning Impact.
Some additional features are also available for learning measurement. To manage them, you need to access the Learning Impact external platform.
This article will guide you on the customization of your evaluation process for e-learning, ILT (Instructor-Led Training) and VILT (Virtual Instructor-Led Training) courses at the course level from the Docebo Learning Impact external platform.
Customizing the Evaluation Process
The Learning Impact external platform allows you to customize the evaluation process at course level. The questionnaire format and the evaluation process have been designed according to the Docebo experience in measuring learning impact. However, you have the possibility to customize it to match your specific needs. To do so, log in to your Learning Impact external platform, then go to the View Evaluations tab and select List of registered trainings. Here, you will find a table listing all courses for which learning evaluation has been enabled, automatically synchronized from Docebo Learn.
Editing Evaluation Details
You can edit a number of parameters that were set for the evaluation. Go to the end of the course’s row and click on the pen icon (Edit course). On the Course Information page that opens, you can update the course’s name, the training company, the type of public, the origin and the field and other details that you entered at course creation. In addition, you can set course objectives and enable or disable Follow-up evaluation. The follow-up evaluation is enabled by default. Press Save once you have updated all the desired fields. Please note that any changes done to the evaluation process are not retroactive and will apply to future evaluations for future ILT and VILT sessions and future learners in the cases of e-learning courses.
Note : Even though you have the option to change the course’s name from this area, we strongly advise you to make any change to the name from Docebo Learn. Any change to the course’s name made on the Learning Impact external platform will not reflect on Docebo Learn. Conversely, the changes made to the course’s name on Docebo Learn will reflect on the Learning Impact platform. We also suggest that you manage the evaluation properties (enabling Instructor evaluation for ILT and VILT courses, enabling Manager evaluation for ILT and VILT courses, enabling follow-up evaluation) directly from Docebo Learn at the moment you are enabling evaluation for courses, as changes will reflect on the Learning Impact platform.
Please note that the modifications to the dates of ILT and VILT sessions made from Docebo Learn will reflect automatically on the Learning Impact platform.
Editing the questionnaire
From the List of Courses main page, go to the end of the course’s row and select Edit training questionnaire. This will open the questionnaire for you to edit some parts. The parts of the questionnaire marked with a lock icon are not editable because they are part of the standard template. For the other parts, you can delete questions, add new questions or move the questions.
To add a new part, click on the plus button on the right side of the questionnaire. Enter a title for your new part. You can now populate this new part with additional questions, modify this part or delete it by clicking on the ellipsis icon on the right side of the part.
To add a new question, click on the plus button below (add a new question). Choose your question type from the drop-down menu or select one of the Docebo Learning Impact standard questions. If you manage questionnaires in multiple languages, you can translate your additional question in your available languages. To do so, click on the language icon on the right side of the questionnaire and select your desired language.
If you need to delete the additional question you have created, click on the trash icon below the question.
Once you are done editing the questionnaire, click on Save Questionnaire.
